Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1900. Classical Exhibitioner, 1901. 4th Class. Mods., 1902; B.A., 1903. Commenced service on 26 November 1915. Private of the 5th South African Infantry Regiment, 1915, serving in German East Africa, 1916. Died in Nairobi of malaria, 15 July 1916.
