Captain Arthur Basil George Biggerton-Evans (1913)

Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1913. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Commenced service in December 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 9th Battalion, South Wales Borderers, 1914; Lieutenant of the 3rd Battalion, 1916; Staff Officer, 1919. Served in Gallipoli, 1915; France, 1916; Macedonia and Bulgaria, 1918 – 1919. Awarded the Order of the Redeemer (Greece); Chevalier, Order of King George I (Greece). Captain (date unknown). Died at Karagatch, Bulgaria, of illness contracted on active service, 17 December 1919.
