Able Seaman Edwin George Ernest Davies (1911)

Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1911. 3rd Theology and B.A., 1913. Took Holy Orders, 1914. Curate in Builth, 1914 – 1915. Commenced service on 12 April 1915. Drafted into the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on the 1 August 1915; Hawke Battalion, 63rd Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Division on the 20 August 1915. Killed in action at Dardanelles, Gallipoli on 27 December 1915.
