Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1910. Science Scholar. A member of the 1st VIII in Eights Week, 1912 – 1914 (Captain, 1913 – 1914). A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps, commenced service on 26 August 1914. Second Lieutenant, 4th Battalion, South Wales Borderers. Sent to the Dardanelles, the Gallipoli Campaign, June 1915 and was killed in action at Anzac, 21 August 1915.
