Entered College in Lent Term, 1906. B.A., 1909. Schoolmaster, 1909 – 1914. Commenced service in 1914. Private in the Gloucestershire Regiment. Second Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Essex Regiment, 1915 serving in France. Killed in action in France and Flanders on 29 July 1916.
