Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1911. 3rd History and B.A., 1914. Commenced service in August 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 6th Battalion Queen’s Own (Royal West Kent Regiment), 1914; Lieutenant, 1915 serving in France. Killed in action at Armentières, 17 September 1915.
