Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1912. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Commenced service on 3 September 1914. In ranks of the 18th Battalion, London Regiment (London Irish), 1914; Second Lieutenant, 19th Battalion, 1917; attached to the R.A.F. (Observer), 1918, in France. Killed in action near St. Quentin, 23 September 1918.
