Lieutenant Charles Patrick Caesar (1913)

Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1913. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Commenced service in August 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 7th Battalion, The King’s Shropshire Light Infantry, 1914; Lieutenant, 1915. Served in France and Belgium. Killed in action near Bazentin-le-Grand during the Battle of the Somme, 14 July 1916.
