Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1913. Previously Assistant Master of The Grange Preparatory School, Hastings, 1911 – 1912; Ashdown House Preparatory School, Forest Row, 1912 – 1913. Commenced service on 22 August 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 8th Battalion, Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), 1914; attached to the 9th Battalion, 1915. Served in France. Died of wounds on 26 May 1916.
