Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1904. A member of the 1st Torpid, 1906 and 1907. B.A., 1912. Assistant Master of King’s School, Worcester, 1908 – 1911 and Captain of the Officer Training Corps. Headmaster of State School, Johore Bahru, Malaya, 1911 – 1915. Commenced service in 1914. Lieutenant of the 7th Battalion, Dorsetshire Regiment, 1915; Captain of the 1st Battalion, 1915; Major, 1916. Killed in action at Ovillers during the Battle of the Somme on the 15 July 1916.
