Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1912. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Commenced service in September 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 11th Battalion of the King’s Royal Rifle Corps. Killed in action at Guillemont during the Battle of the Somme on the 3 September 1916.
