Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1902. President of the Debating Society, 1904. A member of the Tenmantale Club, 1906. 2nd History and B.A., 1906. Assistant Master of Skinner’s School, Tunbridge Wells, 1906 – 1909. At the Community Of Resurrection, Mirfield, 1909 – 1911. Took Holy Orders, (d. 1911; p. 1912). Curate at St. Andrew, Leeds, 1911 – 1913. Received into the Roman Catholic Church. Lecturer, Stonyhurst College, 1913 – 1914. Director of Furley and Company, Sheffield, 1914 – 1916.  Commenced service [date unknown]. Private of the 28th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. Served in France. Killed in action near Gueudecourt during the Battle of the Somme, 7 October 1916.
