Second Lieutenant., R.M., 1914; “of very poor physique, and almost deformed, he would never have been passed for military service; he transported wounded on the Western Front in his own car at his own expense”; Motor Owner Driver 1914. Observer, R.N.A.S., 1915. Flight Observer, 1916 (France; Dardanelles; Italy). Killed whilst flying (Observer), Adriatic (Drowned); Aircraft came down on patrol near Saseno Island (DH4 or DH9).
