Commenced service (following acceptance into College but prior to matriculation) on the 7th November 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 3rd, attached to the 1st, Northamptonshire Regiment, France. Lieutenant. Died on May 14th 1915 of wounds received in action at Aubers Ridge.
