Entered College in Lent Term, 1912. A member of the 1st Association Football XI, 1913 – 1914. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. B.A., 1915.

Commenced service on 8 October 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 9th Battalion, King’s (Shropshire Light Infantry), 1914; Lieutenant, 1914; attached to the 5th Battalion (France and Belgium). Killed in action in Belgium, 25 September 1915.
