Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1912. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. B.A., 1916. Commenced service in September 1914, Second Lieutenant of the 8th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment; Lieutenant, 10 Battalion, 1915, serving in France and Belgium. Died of wounds at Het Sas, Belgium, 27 January 1918.
