Entered College on Michaelmas Term, 1913. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Commenced service in October 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 7th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment; attached to the 2nd Battalion, 1916 serving in France and Mesopotamia. Killed in action at Sanna-i-Yat, on or after 9 January 1917.
