Second Lieutenant Philip Bevan Tree (1913)

Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1913. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Commenced service in September 1914. In ranks of the Royal Fusiliers, 1914; Second Lieutenant, 8th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps, 1916. Serving in France from 1916 – 1918. Killed in action at Péronne, 24 March 1918.
