The Reverend Cyril Ambrose Walton, Chaplain to the Royal Navy (1895)

16 July 1877 – 31 May 1916

Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1895. 4th Theology and B.A., 1989; M.A., 1902. Entered Cuddesdon, 1899. Took Holy Orders, (d. 1900; p. 1901): Curate at St. Jude, Peckham, 1900 – 1905; Clapham, from 1905. Commenced service in 1915 as Chaplain to the Royal Navy (H.M.S. Chester, Grand Fleet). Killed in the Battle of Jutland, 31 May 1916.
