Assistant Master at Greenfield Preparatory School, Seaford, 1914. Commenced service on 28 December 1914. Second Lieutenant, 7th Battalion, Border Regiment serving in France. Died at the 7 General Hospital, Malasisse, St. Omer during active service, 18 February 1916.
